I have done 700 Videos for 700 Bhagavad Gita slokas, working for more than 2 years, not at all for money. This exercise costed me a lot money. I have not tried for monetizing in Youtube (which is the main aim among youtubers). Yet, can you tell I’m not selfish? Many would say that, but I declare boldly that I am selfish. Let me elaborate. Krishna talked to me in 18.68 & 69 that if I spread His ideas, I will become close to Him and in the end, I will reach Him. Now you know what is my purpose of doing all these things.
18.68
ya idam paramam guhyam madbhaktaeshu abhidhaasyati
bhaktim mayi param kRutvaa maam aevaishyaty asamshayaha
Translation:
For one who explains the supreme secret to the devotees, devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me.
18.69
Translation:
There is no devotee in this world dearer to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more person. Don’t worry and feel left out. Krishna takes care of you all also.
18.70
adhyaeShyatae cha ya imaam dharmyam samvaadam aavayOhO
jnanayajnaena taenaaham iShTaha syaam iti mae matihi
Translation:
I declare that he who studies this sacred conversation. Gita worships Me by his intelligence.
18.71
shraddhaavaan anasooyas cha shRunuyaad api yO naraha
sO api muktaha shubhan lOkaan praapnuyaat punyakarmanaam
Translation:
And for lack of time if a person cannot read but listens with faith and without envy, he becomes free from sinful reactions and reaches auspicious planets.
So, let us all do our bit as per our interest and capacity: listen, read & /or spread to others, as much as possible.
