And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body remembering Me alone at once attains My nature. Of this there is no doubt.
So, in order to achieve the goal of moksha, we have to remember the Lord at the end of life. “Ante Narayana smriti.”
“Ante Narayana smriti” is a complete discussion in itself. We will not be going into that topic now.
Further, in BG 8.6, Krishna says that if we do not remember Him in the last moment of our life, if we think of ANYTHING ELSE, then we will get a body in that consciousness. (yam yam vapi smaran bhaavam…).
In BG 8.7, Krishna gives us a method by which we can remember Him in the last minute of our lives!!! BG 8.7,

Therefore, always remember Me and also do your duty of fighting the war. With mind and intellect surrendered to Me, you will definitely attain Me; of this, there is no doubt.
“Remember Krishna Always” – is the key take-away here. So, how do we remember Krishna always? How do we think of Him while doing our work? How do we remember Krishna when we see a person? How can we be reminded of Krishna when we use an object? Basically, how can we remember Krishna in our everyday lives?
Our author Hare Krishna Chandrasekaran has come up with this wonderful concept of “Krishna here, Krishna there, Krishna everywhere”. In this series of posts, we will see how we can relate objects, people and incidents from our everyday lives with Krishna. I am getting the feeling that this is going to be an amazing journey. Writing, editing and reading these blogs are going to be a life-changing experience.
Our first category in the series is “House”. How can we remember Krishna here, at house/home. Read on…
